Gold, silver and diploma for Skald books!
Most beautiful books of the year award 2010
Yet again Skald has won awards in Norwegian Design board's annual Most beautiful books awards.
This time designer Silje Nes recieved accolade for three different book designs: Kjartan Slettemark, Eventyrboka and Greetings from the Fjords.
In the category Art/Photography she won, together with photographer Brita Olsson, gold for the book on the late Norwegian artist Kjartan Slettemark Kjartan Slettemark - kunsten å falle . Together with illustrator Gunvor Rasmussen Silje recieved silver for Eventyrboka (The Fairytale Book) in the Children's book category, while finally accepting a diploma for Vestlandsreisa – Greetings from the fjords in the final Open category.
