Lars Nes, born in 1953, is the manager of SKALD. He has previously worked as a teacher, a headmaster at the Leikanger School of Music and as councillor for cultural activities in the municipality of Balestrand, Sognefjord, Norway.

Simone Stibbe

Simone Stibbe

Simone Stibbe, born in 1980, works as an editor at SKALD. Originally from Halle in Germany, she has studied at the University of Leipzig and has an MA in cultural studies and book science.
Simone is currently on a one year leave until february 2011.

Yngve Sunde

Yngve Sunde

Yngve Sunde, born in 1972, comes from Balestrand in Sogn. He holds a bachelor degree in international politics from Augustana College, USA and English, history and literature from the Universities of Bergen and Oslo. He has worked as a teacher and has substantial proof-reading experience.

Rønnaug Helvik

Rønnaug Helvik was born in 1977 and originates from Sogndal. She has a masters degree in English from the University of Oslo, as well as studies in Social Sciences, History and Litterature. Rønnaug started a one year deputyship on 1 March 2010.

Brit Aksnes (b. 1977) is employed as publishing editor at the Bergen section of Skald. She holds a BA Publishing from London Universities of the Arts and a librarianship foundation year at Oslo College.

Aslak Høyersten

Aslak Høyersten, born 1974, works in sales and marketing. He origins from Bergen og holds a bachelor degree in Visual Communication Photomedia from Kent Institute of Art and Design in England as well as one year of theatre studies at the University of Bergen.

Jon Skjerdal

Jon Skjerdal

Jon Skjerdal, born in 1962, has been involved with SKALD since 1991. He is currently head of the Nattjazz festival in Bergen. His educational background is within folklore, music and television production at the University of Bergen. He has also worked as a youth development officer for the municipality of Sund and as cultural officer for the municipality of Balestrand, Norway.
