Norwegian author and poet Jakob Sande is a household name in his native country where especially his poetry is widely read. This fable is the tale of the three friends Goose, Cat and Rooster who leave their modest life in rural Norway to seek their fortunes abroad. The journey takes them to Copenhagen where they aim to become servants to the King.
